A self-made fold-out kitchen for camping trailers, by Daniel

As a camping enthusiast, you often have to be creative. There is often little space to take things with you. Daniel set to work to build a pull-out kitchen for his caravan. After working out his project, he ordered custom-made non-slip concrete plywood.

I ordered a trailer on which a roof tent will be mounted. Since we also have to cook when camping, I built a kitchen using the screen-printed panels that I ordered here. This comes on heavy-duty slides. The cool box goes in the back, and there is space for the gas cooker on the worktop. The cutlery goes in the drawer and the other cooking utensils go underneath. The screen-printed panels that I ordered are perfectly cut and fit perfectly. The only thing I would recommend for such an extension is that you use a thickness of 12mm and not 9mm like I did. But otherwise perfect ☺️

How I made this project

I looked at various extensions on YouTube and Google and then started the project. I had previously recorded various variants and then came up with the one that I have now installed. I took the dimensions of the cool box and then measured them. Since the compressor cool box has fans on the side and these should remain free, I did not install it sideways. So I recorded everything, measured it and then ordered it. After a week the delivery arrived and I could start. I glued and screwed the panels. I am very happy with the result. Now I am waiting for the trailer to be delivered and then the kitchen unit will be installed.
