Description

Due to the replacement of the old engine in the sloop, the old engine conversion no longer fit. The photos are the result of the new formwork and steering console for the dashboard and steering wheel.

Work description: how did you realize your project

First of all, we started with a lot of fitting and measuring. Due to the limited space in the sloop and the space required for the engine and steering/dashboard, it is a matter of accurate measuring to use the available space as efficiently as possible. For example, the engine compartment must be large enough for the moving parts (flywheel and gearbox) and the dashboard as small as possible to give it an elegant appearance. The formwork and steering console are completely assembled indoors and then completely placed in the boat. The top of the formwork is removable so that there is always the possibility to access the engine for maintenance/repair.

Final size: What are the outside dimensions?

Coffin = 86.4 x 50.0 x 46.8 cm (lxwxh)
Steering console = 11.0 x 63.0 x 19.0 cm (lxwxh)
