TV and media cabinet made of plywood, self-made!

A new TV cabinet. Our new TV is larger than the old one and does not fit on the old TV cabinet. A great opportunity to make a new cabinet and store all media equipment in one cabinet.

This is how you make your own TV cabinet!

First the design is drawn out. For this I use my sketchbook with my own designs that I have made in recent years. Always nice to look back at how projects came about.

Because sawing for the local hardware stores is always a challenge (not really dimensionally stable, frayed edges) and I don't have a good saw bench, I came across at TOSIZE.dk. The website looked great and the description of the company and the working methods appealed to me ... so I took a chance.

The choice fell on multiplex poplar... because it is not that expensive, is lightweight and easy to work with. No visible screws were used, everything was constructed with wooden dowels. So nice and sleek.

I finished the edges of the top and bottom plank blank. The rest is matte white (plain RAL9010). I also painted the turntables under the speakers, so that they also have the same color. According to my roommates, the result is impressive!
