Description
For a coffee bar in Amsterdam, I created this metal cake display case with glass and beautiful TOSIZE.dk black Trespa panels for showcasing the food items.
DIY: Cake Display Case
I welded a frame using steel corner profiles for the base and vertical supports, and T-profiles for the top. The frame was finished with Scano floor oil to give it a light sheen, prevent dirt transfer, and provide solid rust protection. I incorporated glass shelves and Trespa panels, which were secured using black Polymax adhesive. These blend seamlessly into the steel profiling. Using spacer plates, I aligned the Trespa panels perfectly level with the steel edges.
