A standing desk can help. If you stand at your desk, your lower back will be under less strain. Making a standing desk is possibly a solution if your back suffers while working. What do you choose?

Floating desk, folding desk or something else?

There are plenty of different desks to make these days. Many do-it-yourselfers nowadays want to make a floating desk. A desk without legs that is attached to a wall. Such a desk looks neat in the room and is not too distracting when not in use. If a desk should not take up too much space when not in use, then making a folding or flip-up desk is also a good option. Especially if you use a laptop for work. Making a foldable desk doesn't have to be difficult! Does space not matter to you and would you like to have a lot of working space? That is of course also possible! Making a desk out of wood

Most desks are made of wood. Wood is one of the most versatile construction materials and is therefore ideally suited for making desks. If you would like an even and smooth desk, then MDF is a good option. MDF is very easy to work with and can also be finished completely according to your taste. So you can make an MDF desk entirely to your own taste! Do you like a more natural look? Then you can also opt for Timberboards or Plywood. These panel materials are made of parts of solid wood and therefore have a more natural look.
