Custom bookcases by De Eyk assembly Maintenance

Description

4x bookcases made from raw MDF, mostly doweled and screwed together.
All parts were precisely cut to size and partially edge-finished by TOSIZE.dk.

Custom Mini Library

Our customer designed the bookcases, dimensions, and layout themselves. To give it a more robust appearance, we opted for 30 mm MDF.
The result is four double-sided bookcases with different layouts on each side, essentially making 8 bookcases. They needed to be placed perpendicular to a long wall, creating a walk-in library effect.
I prepared the bookcases in the customer’s spacious garage, planned the layout, measured, doweled, and then assembled them as a flat-pack in the living room. After assembly, they were sanded, primed, and finished with paint. Wooden panels matching the kitchen wood will be added to the edges of the bookcases (currently on order).

The bookcases are 244.0 cm tall, 100.0 cm wide, and 60.0 cm deep.
