Custom MDF moisture-resistant panels for basement storage racks, by Eva

We have replaced the old wooden shelves of our storage racks in the basement with new, sleeker, more moisture-resistant panels.

How I made this project

Unfortunately, since our basement has high relative humidity, everything gets moldy quickly. The plates that were placed and provided as standard on these storage racks were very thin plates that immediately became moldy. Cleaning did not help because the mold returned. So we decided to install new plates that can stand in this space without getting moldy. This website is very useful for this, you just need to take the dimensions and provide them and they will cut and deliver it for you. This means we don't have to buy large sheet material and start sawing ourselves at home. :)
