Fireplace furniture with compartments made of Spruce carpentry panel, by Pieter

Using custom sawn Spruce carpentry panels we made a fireplace unit with compartments on both sides of our fireplace. Under the television there is a place for the firewood, on the other side it is currently decoration. In the future there may be a relaxing spot for our daughters.

Custom fireplace furniture

We have measured the spaces to the left and right of the fireplace as precisely as possible. First we had the wood cut to size by OPMAATZAGEN.nl. We then painted the planks white. We attached the uprights to the horizontal top shelf with dowels and wood glue. We also used mounting kit to secure the whole thing together more firmly. Afterwards, close the small remaining cracks with acrylic sealant, so that the whole is beautifully finished.
